As Valley’s first-ever principal photo and video producer, I’ve become a trusted presence within the community. Over time, I achieved a kind of invisibility—a friendly, familiar face who seamlessly blends into the background, capturing authentic moments with ease and care.
For the past three years, my camera has captured the essence of every member of the school community—from curious students and passionate educators to dedicated staff and visionary leaders. I’ve collaborated with every department and program, producing over 500 strategic photo and video shoots. My work has been featured on banners, in magazines, and online, including an award-winning philanthropy video that helped raise over $1 million.
A key part of my role has been tailoring content to resonate with specific stakeholders, including alumni, donors, students, faculty, and staff. Each group has unique interests and priorities, and I’ve refined the ability to create visuals that speak directly to their needs and aspirations. Whether crafting a heartfelt video to inspire donors, producing vibrant student-centered content for social media, or creating polished visuals for internal use, I ensure every piece serves a strategic purpose within our broader marketing efforts.
While technical precision is essential, the true art of my work lies in connecting with people. I’ve learned to draw out authentic, human moments—whether it’s the pride of an alum, the joy of a student, or the dedication of a faculty member—that make the content both visually striking and emotionally impactful. Photography and video production have taught me to see beyond the lens and into the heart of the story.
